Specjalna edycja albumu "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" wydana została z okazji 40-lecia działalności zespołu. Płyta pierwotnie ukazała się na rynku 5 sierpnia 1967 roku i stanowiła debiut świeżo upieczonego zespołu Pink Floyd. Trzypłytowe wydawnictwo zawiera na nowo zremasterowany przez Jamesa Guthriego kompletny materiał z oryginalnego albumu w wersjach mono i stereo, w tym wszystkie single Pink Floyd z 1967 roku. Poza tym na płycie zamieszono również ekskluzywną wersję "Interstellar Overdrive", która wcześniej ukazała się wyłącznie na EP-ce wydanej we Francji oraz nigdy wcześniej niepublikowaną oficjalnie wersję stereo "Apples And Oranges" z 1967 roku.
